We’re heading to London to Fire Up AI Skills
The economic opportunity of AI is huge, yet it can feel like it’s just for the tech bro’s and not for the rest of us. We’ve partnered with the best in the industry to put on a full-day event to educate and inspire more women to lead in AI.
The event will be hosted on central London on 13th March. Find more details here
The gap between the opportunity ahead and access to skills is something we’re driven to change.
The day has been organised by Hannah Maude who has curated the dat around a method she thinks best prepare women for tomorrow, and to help the businesses they work from.
Starting with how to adopt AI and what to use it for at home and work, the idea is to bust the myth you need to know or like technology to use it (“think of it more like Google!). Hannah and AI Expert Lois Janos will talk through their relatable journeys with AI from building businesses to using AI to help them in their personal lives.
But to responsibly be part of adatping to AI at work, Hannah is insistent people understand how it works, the fundamentals. However, this doesn’t need to be a week long session, Accenture and Microsoft are speaking at the event to share how data runs AI and what an AI project works inside a business. Tangible yet not overwhelming.
The other stage is to look to your industry for inspiration and the Advertising group VCCP have a wonderful example to share given they set up an AI creative industry in 2023 that has gone from strength to strength.
The future of work will be different, understanding this and discerning the right way for us as an individual is important. With the panel of dreams, professionals from LinkedIn, Women in Data, Saleforce, Barclay’s Investment Bank and finally the AI solution group Kortical will discusss tips and strategies for adapting. Each of the women on their panel have had their own journey and will drawn on this first hand experience to help the audience see how to make the AI age a successsful for themselves and their teams.
We are so excited for a groundbreaking day. Let’s hope it’s one of many!
